Tom James

Tom James is a Newcastle based musician who studied at the University of York. He writes songs, he plays the guitar and he sings, in that order. The focus of his work is acoustic music, taking inspiration mainly from folk and blues. He hasn’t seen much of the world but he has seen too much of the inside of his own head, so he writes about that duality. He keeps saying he will quit smoking but he hasn’t yet. He writes about that as well.
